I. There exists no supreme, all-wise, and most provident Divine

Being distinct from this universe, and God is the same as the nature of things, and therefore liable to change ; and God is really made both in man and in the world, and all things are God and have the self-same substance of God ; and God is one and the same thing with the world, and therefore spirit is the same thing with matter, necessity with liberty, truth with falsehood, good with evil, and just with unjust.
