Lec the Valerian be gathered in the month of May, and caft away the Roots. The Sc. Johus-wort may be gathered in che month of Fuly, wich the Flowers and Seeds. The Herbs therefore being broken with the Hands, anda little bruifed in a Mortar, let them be infufed in che Malmfey and put into. an Earthen Pot covered over with Glafs; of which faid Por lec thé third part remain emp ty of all chofe things aforefaid into it, for four hours.
