XX. Many kinds of che Orchis, Gandet-Goofe or Dog: ftone, which have fundry names from cheit thapes. XXL Sundry fores of Palma Chrifti ds Satyrinim or Ladies-Traces, Seander= Grafs Ofwhich one kind is now in ufe, Sugar, and being of a cemper hor and moitt, are thought co be very good for Perfons in a Confumption, and ftrongly to provoketo Generation. To the fevench Tribe we may cefer Corns and Pulfes: amough which Wheat is Captain, after which comes 7ea, Zeopyron, Secale, or Togea Rye, Barley, Oats, Turkith hear, viz. a} fuch Grains of which Bread ismade, Buc Legumina Cerealea, Pulles, Galen cela us are fiich as of which bread is nor made: as Bice, Miler, Panick, Beech- Corn ; shough fome count chefe Carns and reckon none for Pulfes but uch as are pulled up by hand. Amongft which neverthelefs Authors reckon many things which are food only for Beafts, and not for men, whofefeed isin dayly-ufe; fuchas are Beans, French Beans, fundry force of Peafe and Hafifers, Vetches, and Tares3, of which many forts, Wild and Garden; Lentiles, Ecets, Lupines, Sefamus.
