I now request our Most Eeverend and Perfect Prelate to remove the Secred WOED, that it may not be exposed to the eyes of the pro- fane, but consumed according to ancient custom as a per- petual memorial of our veneration of Him who was sent to consummate the Eedemption of all those who faithfully and sincerely put their trust in our risen E — 1.
(The Most Eeverend Prelate then consumes the WOED, during which the Princes silently retire one by one to their seats, the youngest fiist.)
