pointment of professors in Union Theological Seminary, the General Assembly hereby disapproves of the appointment of the Kev. Chas. A. Briggs, D.D., to the Edward Robinson pro- fessorship of Biblical Theology in that Seminary, by transfer from another chair in said Seminary.
