IV. The Master of the Lodge, having received notice

of the death of a brother, (the deceased having attained U 3

to the degree of Master Mason,) and of his request to be buried with the ceremonies of the Craft, fixes the day and hour for the funeral, (unless previously arranged by the friends or relatives of the deceased,) and issuea his command to the Secretary to summon the Lodge. He may invite as many Lodges as he may think proper, and the members of those may accompany their of6.cera in form; but the whole ceremony must be under the direction of the Master of the Lodge of which the de- ceased was a member.
