Chapter 49

V. 35. And all the inhabitants of the

earth are reputed as nothing : and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the in- habitants of the earth ; and none can stay his hand, or say unto hira. What doest thou ? Psal. cxxxv. 6. Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. Acts xvii. 25. Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to nil life, and breath, and all things. Ver. 20. And hath made of one blood all na- tions of men, for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determin- ed the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation. V. 28. Tor in him we live, Swd move, and have our being ; as certain also of your own poets have said. For we are also his offspring. Job, Chap- ters xxxviii, xxxix, xl. xli.
