Chapter 195
V. 1. Keep thy foot when thou goest
to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacri- fice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. Ver. 2. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God : for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth : there- fore let thy words be few. Heb. xii. 28. Wherefore, we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear. Geu. xviii. 27. And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes. James v. ]6. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, tiiat ye may be heal- ed : the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James i. 6.
