Chapter 102
II. bKccl. vii. 29. Lo, this only
have I found, that God hath made man uprigiit ; but they have sought out many inventions. Gen. i. 26. And God said. Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping' thing tiiat creepeth upon the earth.
*-' Gen. ii. IG. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying. Of every tree in the garden thou mayest freely eat: Ver. 17. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it : for in tlie day that tliou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. Gen. iii. G. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise ; she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.
