13 Moreover, if he 'be_gotten into a city, then «shall all Israél bring ropes to xthat xcity, and we «will_draw it into the river, until there-be not one small_ stone found there.”
14 And Absalom and all the_‘men_of Israél said, “The_counsel_of Hushai| * the Archite 7s better than the_counsel_|* of Ahithophel.” For J the Lorp had_ c appointed to defeat the good ~counsel_ of Ahithophel, to the_intent_that / the Leap, might _bring *evil upon Absa- om.
15 Then said Hushai unto Zadok and| HusHa to Abiathar the priests, “Thus and wee
