XIII. If any of the great men of the kingdom shall refuse to do justice to an archbishop, or a

bishop, or an archdeacon, either for himself or his tenants, the lord king is to adjudicate. And if perchance any one should refuse the lord king his right, the archbishop, bishops, and archdeacons are to call him to account, that he may make satisfaction to the lord king. (Allowed.)
