XVII. Moreover, the Grecians in their orders make no vow of chastity,

alleging for them the fifth canon,^ " Ego, presbyter vcl diaconus, uxorem causa honestatis non rejiciam," &c. ; that is, " I, N. priest or deacon, will not forsake iny wife for honesty' sake."
