Masons, as individual members of our Order, are to b8 distinguished, according to the progress they have made, into Entered Apprentices, Fellow Crafts, Master Masons, and Past Masters. Symbolic Masonry recognizes nothing beyond these grades. It is of the rights and prerogatives that they acquire, and of the obligations and duties that devolve upon them as individuals who have attained to these various de- grees, that it is the object of the Third Book of the present treatise to inquire.
